Merry Christmas!!

This is the time to have lots of fun and enjoyment. It was indeed a great day . We (me,my hubby and my little daughter) went out for perfect dining and saw 3 idiots. This movie really rocks.Aamir Kahn, a perfectionist has proved himself in this movie. This movie reminds me my days in engineering college and it leaves a very sweet message for all the viewers.Later while roaming in the mall, i was fortunate enough to meet Indian cricketer Yuvra Raj Singh. I even got photograph clicked with him. Christmas is now celebrated in India as well...we can see Santa giving presents to kids and distributing cakes everywhere. All malls decorated and one huge Christmas tree that catches public attraction. Personally I love the months from Oct to Nov. Lots of reasons :1. Festive season. 2. My anniversary falls in this month 3. Me and my sweetheart landed on planet Earth in month of Nov and Dec resp.

I wish merriest of Christmas to everyone, and wish everyone to lead a happy and prosperous life in the coming year ahead.I hope you all have enjoyed a wonderful time enjoying Christmas and I pray to God to have every hour a happy hour to everyone. God Bless All.

Faith: Relation between GOD and Me

I have received this mail. And believe me its worth reading. I am sure you'll enjoy reading it...Here it goes........

An atheist professor of philosophy speaks to his class on the problem science has with God, The Almighty.
He asks one of his new students to stand and.....

Prof:
So you believe in God?

Student:
Absolutely, sir.

Prof
: Is God good?

Student:
Sure.

Prof:
Is God all-powerful?

Student
: Yes..

Prof:
My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him.
Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn't. How is this God good then? Hmm? size=2>
(Student is silent.)

Prof:
You can't answer, can you? Let's start again, young fella. Is God good?

Student:
Yes.

Prof:
Is Satan good?

Student
: No.

Prof:
Where does Satan come from?

Student:
From....God...

Prof:
That's right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?

Student:
Yes.

Prof:
Evil is everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything. Correct?

Student:
Yes.

Prof:
So who created evil?
(Student does not answer.)

Prof:
Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the world, don't they?

Student:
Yes, sir.

Prof:
So, who created them?
(Student has no answer.)

Prof:
Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe the world around you.
Tell me, son...Have you ever seen God?

Student:
No, sir.

Prof:
Tell us if you have ever heard your God?

Student:
No, sir.

Prof:
Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelt your God? Have you ever had any sensory perception of God for that matter?

Student:
No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.

Prof:
Yet you still believe in Him?

Student:
Yes.

Prof:
According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your GOD doesn't exist.
What do you say to that, son?

Student:
Nothing. I only have my faith.

Prof:
Yes. Faith. And that is the problem science has.

Student:
Professor, is there such a thing as heat?

Prof:
Yes.

Student:
And is there such a thing as cold?

Prof:
Yes.

Student:
No sir. There isn't.
(The lecture theatre becomes very quiet with this turn of events.)

Student
: Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat..
But we don't have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can't
go any further after that.
There is no such thing as cold .. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat
.. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it .
(There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)

Student:
What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?

Prof:
Yes. What is night if there isn't darkness?

Student :
You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright
light, flashing light....But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it? In
reality, darkness isn't. If it were you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?

Prof:
So what is the point you are making, young man?

Student:
Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.

Prof:
Flawed? Can you explain how?

Student:
Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought.. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one.To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is
not the opposite of life: just the absence of it.
Now tell me, Professor.Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?

Prof:
If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.

Student:
Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?
(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument is going.)

Student:
Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher? (The class is in uproar.)

Student:
Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor's brain?
(The class breaks out into laughter.)

Student
: Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, sir.
With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?
(The room is silent. The professor stares at the student, his face unfathomable.

Prof:
I guess you'll have to take them on faith, son.

Student:
That is it sir... The link between Man & God is FAITH .. That is all that keeps things moving & alive.

NB: I believe you have enjoyed the conversation....and if so...you'll probably want your friends/colleagues to enjoy the same...won't you?....
this is a true story, and the

student was none other than.............

the former president of India..
Shri. APJ Abdul Kalam...

My trip to Knoebels,Pennslyvenia

Today we went to a amusement park in Pennslyvenia : Knoebels. Its really nice place to visit and really got eye opening scenic beauty. I loved my trip out there. Its perfect place for family ones to have fun, food and fantasy. We started our trip at 7:30 in the morning from Colonia and reached Knoebels around 12. One can find green belt, large platues and large farm along the entire tour. I went there with my sis in law family and had a great time. Aahhh thrill rides were really awesome!!! One should not miss wipe out and roller coster. Flume gives wet excitement.Power surge is another thrilling game where u won't come to know which way it is going to take you.....mind blowing , must go for it.

For first time in my life i had ice-cream made up of little droplets. One can find many varieties : Rain blow droplets ice-cream,chocolate mint ice-creams,vanilla ,fruit and many other flavours. I really loved it.

All in all , we had a nice day out today. Thanks di and jiju for making today one of the rememberable day of my life.

Women in Mens World

I was sitting and wondering that in todays world ,women are moving out and working parallel with men. We can see a female face as Chief Minister of the state, in any parliamentary meeting or in any big organization. But still many companies or any organizations have male appointed as there Head. What could be the reason ? Are men physically stronger or they have more intellectual mind or there leadership skills are superior to women. What ever is the reason women have to do double effort to reach the same position where a man can easily reach without much efforts. Many people have a myth that women gain more importance due to there emotional factor and beauty skills. This can be true in some situations but not always. Today women working hours are more than men...they finish household duties, sincerely do there office job and come back home and again get back to work till they are completely exhausted. But there work is hardly appreciated and counts no where. I think women can intelligently balance between job and family life. So I guess we are still in the middle of the great revolution in the history of women. Move on girls.....HUM HONGE KAMYAB EK DIN, Mann mein hai vishwas, pura hai vishwas, Hum honge kamyab EK DIN

Is this Government really protecting us!!

7/11 2006: Mumbai Train Blasts. 209 Killed.
25/8 2007: Hyderbad Blasts: 42 Killed
Oct 11 2007: Ajmer Blasts : 2 Killed
May 13 2008: Jaipur Blasts : 68 Killed
July 16th 2008: Ahmedabad Blasts : 57 Killed
July 25th 2008: Banglaore Blasts: 1 killed
Sept 13th 2008: Delhi Blasts: 26 Killed
Sept 27th 2008: Delhi Blasts: 2 Killed
Sept 29th 2008 : Gujrat Blasts : 1 killed
Oct 21st 2008: Imphal Blasts : 17 Killed
Oct 30th 2008: Assam Blasts : 40 Killed
Nov 26th 2008: Mumbai Attack: 180 killed

Every major city in India has been attacked consistently over the last two years.
Since 2004, 3850 Indians have died in Terror attacks in over 3000 incidents.
Is the common Indian on the streets really safe ?

Did you know that on the day of the Mumbai train blasts, the Government gave Rs 150 crores for earthquake relief in Pakistan ? Last year our Govt. has given Rs 3000 crores (600 Million Dollars) to Afghanistan? This, when victims of terror in India have not yet got aid? What’s going on?

B) Is this Government really secular ?

1) When Madrasas are being shut down in Pakistan, the Indian Government is giving them CBSE status !! It is depriving Muslim children in getting secular education. A Madrasa educated person can get a job in any government office without going through the secular education system. Can India afford to have fundamentalists in government departments? Why cannot the government shut down Madrassas and let Muslim children study with the rest?

2) Our Government has given 25 lakh scholarships ONLY to minority students.
What sin have the majority done not to deserve these?
Why cannot poor students of all communities be given scholarships instead of only Muslim children?

3) Thanks to the Congress led Government, out of 36000 temples in Andhra Pradesh, 28000 have closed down in the last five years. Do you want the same trend to continue in other parts of the country? Do you want a Nagaland type of situation in the whole of India? While government controls most of the Hindu temples, the minority community has had full freedom to organize their religious bodies. The minority communities now have the first right over resources. Is this not a blatant violation of fundamental rights of the majority community?

4) Why have the minorities in Nagaland, Mizoram & Kashmir not got the similar privileges like the minorities in other states? Why is the Govt following different rules for different religions?

C) Is this government really making friends or enemies for India ?

Thanks to a weak and visionless foreign policy, India has created enemies all around. By the Home Minister’s own admission : "India is surrounded by a circle of fire". Rajiv Gandhi's vision of a powerful "SAARC" is now defunct.

1) Today, India commands little respect from all its neighbours, despite being the largest democracy in the world.
2) Terrorism has engulfed the country from inside and outside. Of course Pakistan, the motherland of international terrorism continues to be a big threat.
3) China has territorial ambitions on India.
4) Nepal, is now being headed by a Maoist government and is ideologically more aligned to China. While India helped to dismantle the dynastic rule in Nepal our own Government surreptitiously supports dynastic rule within its own party.
5) Myanmar is increasingly aligning with Chinese forces with huge Chinese investments in that region.
6) Indian Policies in Srilanka have made Tamil Nadu burn. Will Tamils ever forgive India for encouraging military assault rather than facilitating peaceful dialogue on their north and north east regions.
7) Bangladesh continues to repeatedly aid and abet terrorism.

D) Is this Government really pro-poor?

The number of people living below the poverty line has increased by a horrifying 20 per cent. India had some 270 million people below the poverty line in 2004-2005, when the present Government took office. That number has gone up by 55 million, or 20 per cent!

E) Does this Government really care about the nation?

The Pakistani flag is now being hoisted in five districts of states like Assam where the Muslim population has gone up significantly. 92000 Hindu and 6000 Christians are now languishing in refugee camps. The government has turned a blind eye to this.

In the name of security, innocent people have been put in jails, whereas people like Yaasin Malik who has 23 murder charges on him, are moving Scot free and gathering their own strength. Is it acceptable to any patriotic Indian?

Can the Congress led UPA promise a non-muslim CM in J&K ? Reservation for a Hindu student in Nagaland ? If so, we wholeheartedly support them. Otherwise they should sit at home the next few years and rethink their policies.

Can our politicians stop stooping down to any lengths just for money and power ? Like Mr.Sharad Pawar, who first ditched the Congress and then ditched the people and aligned back with the Congress, just to be in power.

Don’t be deceived. What appears to be communal is not communal, and what appears to be secular is not secular. It is time we change our thinking.

Having said all this even BJP has not proved to be any better.
But for now we need a change. Let us choose the lesser of the two evils.
The same party brought to power again and again means encouraging unabated corruption.

Stand up for this most tolerant and ancient civilization and prevent this great nation from becoming a communal battleground. As citizens of India we must vote for change.

WAKE UP INDIANS. LET US VOTE FOR CHANGE.

What is the Govt. doing with all our money ?

According to the Comptroller & Auditor Generals report on their website http://www.cag.gov.in/, Chapter 2 Comments on Accounts, the following glaring findings are documented

Section 2.2 Unascertainable unspent balances in the accounts of Implementing agencies

For the year 2007-08 , the Union Govt. made a provision for transfer of central plan assistance of Rs. 51259.85 crore directly to state/district level autonomous bodies, authorities societies etc for implementation of centrally sponsored schemes. These have not been spent fully by the implementing agencies and lie unspent in their accounts.

The report clearly say "the aggregate amount of unspent balances in the accounts of the implementing agencies kept outside Govt. accounts is not readily ascertainable. The Govt. expenditure as reflected in the accounts to that extent is therefore overstated"

Where is this Rs. 51259.85 crore gone ????

Section 2.3. Opaqueness in Govt. accounts

Scrutiny of Union Govt. Finance accounts 2007-08 disclosed the Rs. 20273.52 crore under 28 major heads of accounts was classified under minor head '800-other expenditure' in the accounts constituting more than 50 % of the total expenditure under respective major heads.

This indicates a high degree of opaqueness in the accounts, the report says. It also says that the existing structure of the Govt. accounts does not truly reflect the current activities of the Govt. in these Ministries /Depts.

What all is the Govt. hiding from its people ???
What is it really doing with the tax payers money ???

Section 2.4 Understatement of Balances under Universal Service Obligation Fund

The USO fund was set up in April 2002 for achieving universal service objectives of increasing tele density in rural and remote areas. The resources for this are raised through universal access levy which is payable by all telecom operators under various licences

A total Universal service levy of Rs. 20404.44 crore was collected during 2002-03 to 2007-08 by the DoT but a disbursement of only Rs. 6371.44 crore was made from the USO fund. Thus the closing balance of the fund on 31st March 2008 should be Rs. 14099 crore as against the NIL balance shown under that head !!!! The report says that "closing balance of the USO fund as on 31st March 2008 was therefore understated by Rs. 14033 crore "

The report also says that this matter was presented to the parliament but no action has been taken

Where has this Rs. 14033 crore gone ???

Section 2.5 Overstatement of capital expenditure

The Govt. transferred Rs. 6500 crore in 2006-07 and Rs. 6000 crore in 2007-08 to the Social and Infrastructure Development fund (SIDF) for initiatives like upgradation of industrial training institutes, training of farmers etc. Thus entire amount was booked as capital expenditure in the accounts of these 2 years

The report says that examination of the expenditure of Rs. 3447.75 crore incurred during 2007-08 disclosed that Rs. 1586.75 crore was of revenue nature. It says that capital expenditure in the Consolidated Fund of India 2006-07 was thus overstated to the extent of at least Rs. 1586.75 crore. For 2007-08 capital expenditure of Rs. 6000 crore is overstated

This means that the Govt. is fooling us by telling us that they are spending our money on development where as they are really spending it on something else. Where has this money gone!!

Trip to Vrindavan

By Godz grace we planned a trip to Mathura,Barsana and Vrindavan.Though it was not my first trip but i really enjoy every time i visit this place. All of us enjoyed a alot. Everyone is saying "Radhe Radhe". Everyone is chanting " Hare Ram Hare Ram Ram Ram Hare Hare, Hare Krishna Hara Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare". The most powerful mantra. You can feel the presence of Lord Krishna everywhere. The best part of the trip was in Vrindavan where we played Holi with colorful petals. I have never ever played Holi with flowers. It was giving me very pleasant feeling. Somewhere i was having a feel that I am giving my soul what it actually wants. Krishan ji is looking so graceful , so beautiful that you can't take your eyes off Them. In Eskon , we could actually feel God everywhere. Even people those who don't belong to India were dressed up in typical Indian dresses ( Dhoti and sarees with big bindi on forehead) and were fully devotees of Lord Krishna. One can hear the temple bell ringing early in the morning and prayers going on everywhere. Really feel like heaven in Vrindavan. I am planning to have a small apartment in Vrindavan :) . If any one of you reading this blog ever had a chance to visit India , don't ever forget to visit Krishna jiz birth place and Vrindavan. It will give food to your soul.

But we need to take care of one thing : ' The greedy Pandits .'Just ignore whatever they are saying and pray with all your heart and soul.

May God bless everyone.

God's message to us.....

I have read this article somewhere and really found it worth to be posted on my blog. Please spare 5 mind going through it.

One day I decided to quit...
I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality... I wanted to quit my life.
I went to the woods to have one last talk with God.
"God", I said. "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?"
His answer surprised me...
"Look around", He said. "Do you see the fern and the bamboo?"
"Yes", I replied.
When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them.
I gave them light. I gave them water.
The fern quickly grew from the earth.
Its brilliant green covered the floor.
Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed.
But I did not quit on the bamboo.
In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful.
And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed.
But I did not quit on the bamboo. He said.
"In the third year, there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit. In the fourth year, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. "I would not quit." He said. "Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth.

Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant... But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall.

It had spent the five years growing roots.

Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive. I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle."

He said to me. "Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots."

"I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you. “Don’t compare you to others ..." He said. “The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern ... Yet, they both make the forest beautiful."

Your time will come, “God said to me.” You will rise high! “How high should I rise?" I asked.

How high will the bamboo rise?" He asked in return.

"As high as it can?” I questioned.

“Yes.” He said, "Give me glory by rising as high as you can.”

Never regret a day in your life.

Good days give you happiness

Bad days give you experiences;

Both are essential to life.

A happy and meaningful life requires our continuous input and creativity. It does not happen by chance. It happens because of our choices and actions. And each day we are given new opportunities to choose and act and, in doing so, we create our own unique journey." Keep going...

Happiness keeps you Sweet,

Trials keep you Strong, Sorrows keep you Human, Failures keep you humble, Success keeps You Glowing, but Only Faith keeps You Going!

Happy Valentines Day!!

It was indeed a day full of surprises for me. I was so much hooked up with the daily work that i didn't realized that its 14th Feb today. In the morning when i checked my mails , some of my close friends wished me Valentines day, so its just came to my mind ..."aah how can i forget this day...."Immediately I went to my hubby and my sweet little daughter. To my surprise they have brought a sweet gift for me.I felt really nice and then we guys planned to move out for picnic. We really enjoyed alot and also we watched movie-"Luck by Chance". Its really nice one. These days my work is going so hectic but i feel that despite of my day and night efforts i am not able to acheive my goal. After watching this movie, i realized that we need to stick to our mission and be in right track. Also being in right track is not sufficient. We need to keep on moving in that track though slowly , then only we can reach to our destination and make our dreams/desires/mission come true. I really love the song "Sapno se bhare naina". Its really the truth of life, at least i felt it in my case.So i really want to thank my lovable hubby for all that he has done for me and making me realize where i need to move further. You are always my source of inspiration and motivate me to achieve my goals in life. Thanks dear ....I love you.

Beauty of Moon

You'll fall in love with Moon-really mindblowing pictures.

Bhayia out and Ramo in -Indian Idol top 5 list is shocking!!!

Well today when i switched on my television set to watch Indian IDOL show , i was thinking that may be Ramo or Torsha will be out. But to my surprise , my favourite Bhayia was not the choice of Indian idol viewers, so she was voted out 'FINALLY'. And i think Ramo, though he has improved alot these days, but he doesnot deserve to be in top 5 when many talented contestants are out. I think all young kids vote for Ramo multiple times a day till voting lines are closed :) . But its sad. Now my eyes are on Sourbhi-my second favourite Indian idol contestant. She is a complete package in herself. She carries herself very well and has good confidence on stage.I am not keeping my fingures crossed and looking forward for the upcoming episodes.

My all good wishes to Sourbhi.

It happens only in INDIA !!!

I have a incident to narrate that make me feel ashamed to be an INDIAN.There can be many if we start counting them, but here is that happens on 60th Republic day of our nation-a gift by Indian political party (Sri Ram Sena)
I really feel sad about the incident that happened in a pub at Mangalore.Girls were chased and thrased by people of 'Sri Ram Sena ' when they were trying to escape from the Pub.In other words they were molested. About 15 to 20 activists, reportedly belonging to Sri Ram Sena, entered into the pub late on Saturday night and assaulted boys and girls dancing there, accusing the teens of behaving in an "obscene manner.According to them they are showing the Indian culture to the Indian girls. But don't you think it is something really shameful.Otherwise one fine day some other party on the name of democracy with come up and ask the girl to leave class rooms as they are having there place in house kitchen. Government must take serious steps against the cuprits.

CCTC: Akshay Kumara and Miss padukon did not rock the movie..

Chandni Chowk to China certainly has its faults that make an unrealistic feel in the story, but it also contains enough lighter-than-air moments to recommend it.You can see Akshay jumping off tall office building and the woman opens an unbrella to halt his fall, which leads to a deliriously silly and romantic dance.Further this unbrella inveted by some XYZ company can also protect one from bullets and act as parachute.Isn't it something really funny.

The only thing that i liked in the movie is the fighting scenes(that also coz i haven't watched much of the action movies so far). I found Chinese martial art really good enough that makes u feel that its worth spending money to watch this movie in any of the PVR cinemas. They introduced one Cosmos Kumfo. I exactly don't know what it is but it can result in a cyclone and raise the level of tides and much more effect.Something related to Cosmic science hahaaha.

Anyways it a simple time pass movie :) .

Its performance not position that matters

A wonderful story with a great concluding remarks......

A Priest dies & is awaiting his turn in line at the Heaven's Gates.

Ahead of him is a guy, fashionably dressed, in dark sun glasses, a loud
shirt, leather jacket & jeans.

God asks him: Please tell me who are you, so that I may know whether to
admit you into the kingdom of Heaven or not?

The guy replies: I am Pandi, Auto driver from Chennai!

God consults his ledger, smiles & says to Pandi: Please take this
silken robe & gold scarf & enter the Kingdom of Heaven ...

Now it is the priest's turn. He stands erect and speaks out in a
booming Voice: I am Pope's Assistant so & so, Head Priest of the so & so Church
for the last 40 years.

God consults his ledger & says to the Priest: Please take this cotton
robe & enter the Kingdom of Heaven ...

'Just a minute,' says the agonized Priest. 'How is it that a foul
mouthed, rash driving Auto Driver is given a Silken robe & a Golden scarf and
me, a Priest, who's spent his whole life preaching your Name & goodness has
to make do with a Cotton robe?'

'Results my friend, results,' shrugs God.

'While you preached, people SLEPT; but when he drove his Auto, people
PRAYED'

"It's PERFORMANCE & not POSITION that ultimately counts."

Satya of Satyam......

Today where on one side the country is already facing economic crisis, one more bad news came from a very high-profile IT company, Satyam Computers.A lot of dramatic action took place here when the share fell down by more than 70% and Satyam chairman Ramalinga Raju , resigns and admits his fraud.
All this certaintly put question mark over the corporate practices of companies in India. As stated in one of the newspaper Satyam’s balance sheet as on Sep 30, 2008, carries an inflated (non-existent) cash and bank balances of Rs 5,040 crore (as against Rs 5,361 reflected in the books). Further, it carries an accrued interest of Rs 376 crore which is non-existent. It also sends a negative signal to the foreign institutional investors. Satyam’s fraud is expected to lead a severe blow to the entire industry with investors being more cautious going ahead. All stock exchange listed companies must comply with RTI Act because these companies own and operate on shareholders money which is 10 times the company quarterly revenue.
Anyway, I would like to praise Raju for his honesty to admit the fraud done by him. Need not mention, there are much bigger fraud done by people like Amar Singh, Lalu Yadav etc. Do they admit their faults ever or have any action being taken against them?
